If you're traveling by car, head towards Samosir Island. From Medan, take the road to Parapat, which is about 170 km away and takes approximately 4-5 hours. Once you reach Parapat, take the ferry to Tomok, which costs around IDR 10,000-20,000 per person. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at Tomok, drive towards MV26+725. The museum is located near the lake and is accessible via local roads.

To reach the Batak Museum using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Medan to Parapat. The bus journey takes about 4-5 hours and costs around IDR 50,000-100,000. Upon reaching Parapat, you will need to take a ferry to Tomok for about IDR 10,000-20,000. After disembarking in Tomok, you can either walk or take a local taxi to the museum, which is roughly 1 km away from the ferry terminal.
