Getting There

    If you are driving from Medan, take the Medan-Binjai road (AH25) heading towards Binjai. Continue for approximately 50 km until you reach the junction near the town of Kabanjahe. Turn left onto Jalan Jamin Ginting (also known as Jalan Kabanjahe) and drive for about 25 km. Follow the signs to Sinabung Vulkano Park, which should lead you to Sigarang Garang in Naman Teran. Once you reach the area, look for the signs that direct you to Sabana Sinabung Vulkano Park.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    From Medan, head to the Amplas Bus Terminal and take a bus to Kabanjahe. The journey takes approximately 2-3 hours and costs around IDR 40,000 to IDR 60,000. Once you arrive in Kabanjahe, take an angkot (minibus) to Naman Teran. Inform the driver you are heading to Sabana Sinabung Vulkano Park. The fare for the angkot is about IDR 10,000. Make sure to confirm with the driver about the route to ensure you are dropped off at the closest point to the park.
