Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey in Jayapura. Head southeast on Jl. Yos Sudarso, then turn onto Jl. Raya Abepura. Continue on this road for about 12 kilometers until you reach the town of Doyo Lama. Follow the signs to Doyo Lama and then look for signs directing you to Tungku Wiri Hill. The journey should take roughly 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to have a GPS or a map app handy for the final turns, as the roads can get a bit narrow and winding.

Public Transportation
If you prefer to use public transportation, start at the Jayapura bus terminal. Look for a minibus heading towards Abepura or Doyo Lama. The fare should be around IDR 10,000 to 20,000 per person. Inform the driver or conductor that you want to get off at Doyo Lama. From the Doyo Lama bus stop, you can either walk (approximately 2 kilometers) or hire a local motorcycle taxi (ojek) for about IDR 15,000 to 30,000 to take you to Tungku Wiri Hill. Be prepared for a short hike from where the motorcycle taxi drops you off to reach the viewpoint.

Motorcycle
For those comfortable riding a motorcycle, you can rent one in Jayapura. Once you have rented a motorcycle, head towards Abepura via Jl. Yos Sudarso and then Jl. Raya Abepura. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Be cautious of road conditions as they can vary. Once you reach Doyo Lama, follow local signs to Tungku Wiri Hill. The final stretch may require some off-road riding, so be sure to wear a helmet and appropriate gear.
