Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards the Bunaken National Park entrance located on the mainland. From Manado, take Jl. Raya Meras towards Bunaken. Follow the road until you reach the intersection near the park entrance. Continue straight on Jl. Raya Meras for approximately 20 minutes. Look for signs indicating BUKIT DOA MERAS. The destination will be on your right, just past a small local village.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus or shared taxi from Manado to Bunaken Island. The bus will likely drop you off at the ferry terminal. From there, catch a ferry to Bunaken Island (ferry costs around IDR 50,000). Once on the island, you can hire a local ojek (motorcycle taxi) to take you to BUKIT DOA MERAS. The ojek ride will cost approximately IDR 30,000 and takes about 15-20 minutes. Make sure to negotiate the price before starting your journey.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and are staying near the area, you can walk to BUKIT DOA MERAS. Start from the main village area and follow the main road (Jl. Raya Meras) heading towards the direction of the hill. The walk will take roughly 1 hour, so ensure you have enough water and wear comfortable shoes.
