If you are renting a car in Manado, start your journey towards the port of Manado. From Manado City, head southeast on Jl. Jend. Sudirman towards Jl. S. Parman. Continue straight onto Jl. Diponegoro, following signs for the city center. After approximately 15 minutes, you will reach the Manado Harbor (Pelabuhan Manado). At the harbor, park your car in the designated area. The ferry to Bunaken departs from here. Ferry tickets can be purchased at the ticket counter for around IDR 60,000 to IDR 100,000 per person, depending on the season. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes to reach Bunaken Island.
