Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start from the main town of Wangi-Wangi. Head southeast on the main road towards Tomia Island. After about 30 minutes, you will reach the ferry terminal. Take a ferry to Tomia Island (this may take about 1 hour, and ferry tickets usually cost around IDR 50,000 per person). Once you arrive at Tomia, continue driving southeast on the coastal road for about 30 minutes until you reach Kulati. Follow the signs to Pantai Huntete, which is located at the coordinates 62R4+43W. The beach is well-signposted, and you should see it on your right as you approach.

  • Public Transportation

    From the main town of Wangi-Wangi, take a public van (angkot) heading to the ferry terminal. This ride should cost around IDR 10,000. Once at the ferry terminal, board the ferry to Tomia Island. After disembarking, you can either take a local motorcycle taxi (ojek) or a shared minivan to Kulati. The ojek ride will cost approximately IDR 20,000, while the minivan ride may cost around IDR 15,000. Once you reach Kulati, you can walk or take another ojek to Pantai Huntete, which is approximately 5-10 minutes away.
