If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Tanjung Pinang, the capital of Riau Islands. Drive north on the Jl. Raya Tanjung Pinang highway for about 40 kilometers. Follow signs toward Gunung Kijang. Once you reach Gunung Kijang, look for Malang Rapat. Turn onto Unnamed Road (4HQM+MWC) and continue following the road until you arrive at Grotto Santa Maria. Parking is generally available nearby.

For those using public transportation, take a minibus or a local bus from Tanjung Pinang to Gunung Kijang. The buses depart regularly from the main bus terminal and the fare is approximately IDR 30,000 (as of the last update). Once you reach Gunung Kijang, you can either take a motorbike taxi (ojek) to reach Malang Rapat and Grotto Santa Maria, or you can walk if you prefer a short trek (approximately 15-20 minutes on foot).
