If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Tanjung Pinang, the capital of the Riau Islands. Head southeast on Jl. Raya Tanjung Pinang for about 15 km. Follow the signs for Jl. Raya Bintan and continue on this road for approximately 40 km. When you reach the junction near Bintan Buyu, turn left onto Jl. Bintan Buyu, and drive for about 5 km. You will see signs for Air Terjun Bintan on your right. Please note that parking may be available near the waterfall, but it can be limited during peak tourist seasons.

For those using public transportation, take a minibus or public bus from Tanjung Pinang to Bintan Buyu. The journey typically costs around 20,000 IDR per person and takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Bintan Buyu, you may need to hire a local motorcycle taxi (ojek) for about 10,000-15,000 IDR to take you directly to Air Terjun Bintan, which is approximately 5 km away from the bus stop.
