If you are driving from Tanjung Pinang, head southeast on Jl. Raya Tanjung Pinang towards Jl. Jendral Sudirman. Continue on Jl. Jendral Sudirman for approximately 25 km. Once you reach Teluk Sebong, take a right onto Jl. Kp. Pereh. Follow this road until you reach Desa Wisata Ekang, which will be on your left. The total driving distance from Tanjung Pinang is about 30 km and should take around 40 minutes.

Take a public bus from Tanjung Pinang to Bintan. Buses frequently leave from the main bus station. Once you reach Bintan, you can take a local minibus or ojek (motorcycle taxi) to Desa Wisata Ekang.
