Car
If you are driving from Pekanbaru, head west on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman towards Jalan Soekarno-Hatta. Continue on Jalan Soekarno-Hatta until you reach the junction with Jalan Lintas Sumatera. Turn left onto Jalan Lintas Sumatera and follow the signs towards Dumai. After approximately 2 hours, you will reach Dumai. From Dumai, take the ferry to Rupat Island. The ferry terminal is located at Pelabuhan Dumai. The ferry ride takes about 1 hour and costs around IDR 30,000 to IDR 50,000 per person. Upon arrival at Rupat Island, continue to Tanjung Medang. Follow the local roads towards the coordinates 4J9M+9CV, Tanjung Medang, Rupat Utara.

Public Transportation
From Pekanbaru, take a public bus to Dumai. Several companies operate this route, and the journey takes approximately 4 hours. The bus fare is around IDR 50,000 to IDR 100,000. Once you arrive in Dumai, head to the Pelabuhan Dumai ferry terminal and purchase a ticket for the ferry to Rupat Island. The ferry ride takes about 1 hour and costs around IDR 30,000 to IDR 50,000 per person. After reaching Rupat Island, you can hire a local taxi or ojek (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Tanjung Medang, where you will find Panglima Nayan Island.
