To reach Yayasan Buddhagaya from the Semarang city center, you can take a public bus from the main bus terminal. Head to the 'Terboyo' bus terminal and look for a bus heading towards Banyumanik. Once you're on the bus, inform the driver that you're going to Jl. Perintis Kemerdekaan. The ride should take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off when you reach the intersection near Yayasan Buddhagaya. From there, walk a short distance along Jl. Perintis Kemerdekaan, and you will find the temple on your right.
