From Chinatown Semarang, head southeast on Jl. Gang Lempung towards Jl. Semarang. Continue along Jl. Semarang until you reach the intersection with Jl. Pemuda. Turn left onto Jl. Pemuda, and you will find Lawang Sewu on your right at No. 160, approximately a 15-minute walk.

Bicycle (Rent)
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Chinatown. Head southeast from the rental shop on Jl. Gang Lempung, then continue straight until you reach Jl. Semarang. Turn left onto Jl. Semarang and then left again onto Jl. Pemuda. Lawang Sewu will be on your right at No. 160. The bike rental usually costs around IDR 20,000 per hour.

Public Transport (Angkot)
You can take an angkot (public minibus) from a nearby stop in Chinatown. Look for an angkot heading towards 'Kota' or 'Pecindilan.' Get off at the 'Pecindilan' stop, which is close to Jl. Pemuda. From there, walk to Jl. Pemuda and head east for about 5 minutes until you reach Lawang Sewu at No. 160. The fare for the angkot is around IDR 5,000.
