Getting There

  • Walking

    From Simpang Lima, head southwest on Jalan Pahlawan, walking towards Jalan Gajah Mada. After about 500 meters, you will reach the intersection with Jalan K.H. Ahmad Dahlan. Turn left onto Jalan K.H. Ahmad Dahlan. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you reach the first traffic light. At the traffic light, you will see the entrance to Chinatown on your right.

  • Public Transport (Angkot)

    From Simpang Lima, look for an angkot (minibus) heading to Kauman. You can catch one from the designated angkot stop near Simpang Lima. The fare is typically around IDR 3,000 to IDR 5,000. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Kauman. The angkot will drop you off close to Chinatown, and from there, you can walk for about 5 minutes to reach the main area.
