If you're traveling by car, start from Banjarmasin, the capital city of South Kalimantan. Take the Jl. Ahmad Yani route heading south towards Simpur. After approximately 130 km, you will reach the town of Simpur. From Simpur, continue on Jl. Bukhari for about 5 km. You'll find Tempat Mapir located at coordinates 56R9+37R, Jl. Bukhari, Wasah Hilir, Kec. Simpur. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition as some roads may be less maintained.
Public Transportation
To reach Tempat Mapir using public transportation, start at the Banjarmasin Bus Terminal. Look for a bus heading to Kandangan, which will take you through the route towards Simpur. The bus fare is approximately IDR 50,000. Once you arrive at Simpur, hire a local ojek (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Jl. Bukhari. The ojek ride should cost around IDR 20,000. Make sure to communicate your destination clearly to the driver.
