Car

If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Banjarmasin, the capital city of South Kalimantan. Head south on Jalan Ahmad Yani towards Jalan A. Yani. Continue on this road for approximately 30 km until you reach the junction for Jalan Trans Kalimantan. Take the left turn onto Jalan Trans Kalimantan. After about 20 km, turn right onto Jalan Raya Tamban. Follow this road for around 15 km, and you will arrive at the ferry terminal for Kembang Island. Here, you will need to pay a small fee for the ferry, which usually costs around IDR 10,000 per person. The ferry ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, and once you arrive at Kembang Island, you can explore the beautiful scenery.
Public Transportation (Bus + Ferry)

For those using public transportation, begin your journey at the Banjarmasin Bus Terminal. Look for a bus heading to Barito Kuala Regency; these buses usually leave frequently. The bus ride will take about 1-1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the closest bus stop to Tamban, you will need to take a short local transport (such as an angkot or ojek) to the ferry terminal. The fare for local transport is approximately IDR 5,000 to IDR 10,000. After reaching the ferry terminal, purchase your ferry ticket to Kembang Island, costing around IDR 10,000 per person. The ferry ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, taking you directly to Kembang Island.
Motorbike Rental

Another option is to rent a motorbike in Banjarmasin. Once you have secured a rental, follow the same route as described for the car journey. This gives you the flexibility to stop along the way and enjoy the local scenery.
