The journey is approximately 60 kilometers and will take about 1.5 hours. Once you reach Takisung, follow the signs to the beach area, which is well-marked. Parking is available near the beach.

For public transportation, take a bus from Banjarmasin to Pelaihari. Buses leave frequently from the terminal in Banjarmasin and the fare is around IDR 30,000. The journey takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Pelaihari, you can take a local angkot (minibus) heading to Takisung Beach. The fare for the angkot is approximately IDR 10,000 and the ride will take an additional 30 minutes.
