Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Banjarmasin, the capital of South Kalimantan. Take Jalan A. Yani towards the south and follow the signs for Tanah Laut Regency. The journey is approximately 60 kilometers and will take about 1.5 hours. Once you reach Takisung, follow the signs to the beach area, which is well-marked. Parking is available near the beach.
Bus
For public transportation, take a bus from Banjarmasin to Pelaihari. Buses leave frequently from the terminal in Banjarmasin and the fare is around IDR 30,000. The journey takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Pelaihari, you can take a local angkot (minibus) heading to Takisung Beach. The fare for the angkot is approximately IDR 10,000 and the ride will take an additional 30 minutes.
Motorbike Taxi
If you prefer a quicker option after reaching Pelaihari, you can hire a motorbike taxi (ojek) to take you directly to Takisung Beach. Negotiate the fare before starting; it typically ranges from IDR 20,000 to IDR 30,000. The ride will last about 20 to 30 minutes.
