Once you reach Ebungfau, follow the signs to Atabar, which is where Danau Emfote is located. The lake is approximately 15 kilometers from Ebungfau. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as gas stations can be sparse in rural areas.
Public Transportation

For those opting for public transportation, take a minibus from Jayapura to Sentani. The fare is around IDR 20,000. In Sentani, transfer to a minibus heading towards Ebungfau. The fare for this leg is about IDR 25,000. Once you reach Ebungfau, you can hire a local motorcycle taxi (ojek) to take you the remaining 15 kilometers to Danau Emfote. The cost for the motorcycle taxi will be approximately IDR 50,000.
Walking
