Car
If you are driving, start from Kendari, the capital city of Southeast Sulawesi. Take the Trans Sulawesi road (Jalan Trans Sulawesi) heading towards the south. After about 70 km, turn left onto Jalan Poros Tinanggea, which will lead you directly towards Taman Nasional Rawa Aopa Watumohai. Continue for approximately 30 km, and you will reach the entrance of the national park. Be prepared for some unpaved roads as you approach the park.

From Kendari, you can take a public minibus or 'angkot' heading to Tinanggea. The fare is usually around IDR 30,000 to IDR 50,000. The journey will take approximately 2-3 hours. Once you arrive in Tinanggea, you may need to hire a local ojek (motorcycle taxi) or negotiate with a driver for a car to take you the remaining 30 km to Taman Nasional Rawa Aopa Watumohai. Expect to pay around IDR 100,000 for the ojek ride, or a similar price for a car.
