Getting There

  • Car

    From Ubud, head north on Jalan Raya Ubud. Continue straight until you reach the intersection at Jalan Raya Tegallalang. Turn left onto Jalan Raya Tegallalang and follow this road for about 10 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Kedisan and turn onto Jalan Raya Banjar Jl. Pakudui. The Abian Desa Rice Terrace will be on your right after approximately 2 kilometers. Parking is available near the entrance. Note that there may be a small entrance fee of IDR 10,000.

  • Public Transportation

    Take a local bemo (minibus) from Ubud to Tegallalang. The bemo terminal is located near the Ubud Art Market. Once in Tegallalang, disembark at the main street and look for a bemo heading towards Kedisan. Ask the driver to drop you off at Jalan Raya Banjar Jl. Pakudui. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to the Abian Desa Rice Terrace. Be prepared to pay a small fare for each bemo ride, usually around IDR 20,000 to 30,000.

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the many shops in Ubud. Start your journey on Jalan Raya Ubud and head north. After about 6 kilometers, turn left onto Jalan Raya Tegallalang. Continue cycling for another 10 kilometers until you reach Jalan Raya Banjar Jl. Pakudui. The rice terrace will be on your right. This route is scenic but be aware of the traffic. Make sure you have a map or GPS to navigate.
