If you are driving from central Ubud, start on Jalan Raya Ubud and head east. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Jalan Monkey Forest. Turn left onto Jalan Monkey Forest and follow it until you reach the T-junction. At the T-junction, turn right onto Jalan Raya Sanggingan. Continue on this road for about 5 km. You will come to a sign for Ayung River Rafting. Follow the signs leading you to the river, where you can find parking. Be aware that parking may incur a fee of approximately IDR 5,000.

To reach Ayung River by public transportation, take a local bemo (minibus) from Ubud's Ubud Market to the destination. Ask the driver for Ayung River or 'Rafting' as a reference.
