Car
If you are renting a car or using a private driver, head out from the center of Ubud towards Jalan Raya Ubud. Follow this road until you reach the junction with Jalan Raya Campuan. Turn left onto Jalan Raya Campuan and continue straight. Keep following the road, which will turn into Jalan Raya Kedewatan. After approximately 20 minutes, you will reach the intersection with Jalan Raya Seseh. Turn right onto Jalan Raya Seseh and continue towards Canggu. After about 15 minutes, you will see signs for Canggu. Continue straight until you reach the location at 84QJ+QJP, Canggu, Kuta Utara. Parking may be available on-site, but confirm with the surf school in advance.

Public Transportation
To reach Matahari Surf School using public transportation, start by taking a local 'bemo' (minibus) from Ubud to Canggu. You can find bemos at the main bus terminal in Ubud. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off near Canggu. The ride will take around 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Canggu, you may need to walk or take a local taxi for the last stretch. If you prefer, you can also use ride-hailing apps like Gojek or Grab from Ubud directly to the surf school, which is a convenient option and will cost around IDR 150,000 to IDR 200,000.
