Experience Sumampan Waterfall Parking Area

Getting There

  • Car

    From central Ubud, head southeast on Jl. Monkey Forest towards Jl. Raya Ubud. Continue straight onto Jl. Raya Ubud, and then take a left onto Jl. Sukma Kesuma. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Jl. Kemenuh. Turn right onto Jl. Kemenuh and continue for about 3 km. Look for signs to Sumampan Waterfall. The parking area will be on your right, just before you reach the waterfall entrance.

  • Public Transportation

    Catch a local bemo (minibus) from Ubud to Sukawati. The bemo terminal is located near the Ubud Market. Ask the driver to drop you off at Kemenuh, or the nearest point to Sumampan Waterfall. From there, you can either walk or hire a local taxi or ojek (motorcycle taxi) to reach the parking area. Expect to pay around 10,000 IDR for the bemo ride and a further 10,000-20,000 IDR for the motorcycle taxi.

  • Walking

    If you are already in the vicinity of Kemenuh, you can walk to the Sumampan Waterfall Parking Area. From the main road in Kemenuh, head towards Jl. Sumampan. Follow this road for about 1 km until you see the signs directing you to the waterfall. The parking area is located just before the entrance to the waterfall itself.
