Getting There

  • Public Bus

    Start at the Yogyakarta Tugu Train Station. Head to the nearest bus stop and catch a bus heading towards Wonosari. You can ask locals or look for a bus labeled 'Wonosari'. The bus ride will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at Wonosari, get off at the Wonosari Terminal.

  • Angkot (Minibus)

    From Wonosari Terminal, look for an angkot (local minibus) heading to Patuk or Nglanggeran. The fare is usually very affordable, around IDR 10,000-15,000. Inform the driver that you want to go to Embung Nglanggeran, and they will drop you off at the nearest point. The angkot ride may take about 30-45 minutes.
