Walking
If you are starting from Malioboro Street, head south towards Jalan Pangeran Diponegoro. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Jalan Jendral Sudirman. Turn left onto Jalan Jendral Sudirman and continue walking until you reach the next intersection. From there, turn right onto Jalan Ngupasan. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters, and you will find Monumen Urip Sumoharjo on your left.
Public Transport (Trans Jogja Bus)
If you are near the Malioboro area, take the Trans Jogja bus route 1A or 1B from the Malioboro 1 bus stop. Ride the bus towards the Terminal Jombor and get off at the Ngupasan stop. From the bus stop, walk about 200 meters south on Jalan Ngupasan, and you will arrive at Monumen Urip Sumoharjo, which will be on your right.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from any bike rental service in Yogyakarta, preferably around Malioboro. Cycle south towards Jalan Pangeran Diponegoro and continue straight until you reach Jalan Jendral Sudirman. Turn left onto Jalan Jendral Sudirman and then make a right onto Jalan Ngupasan. Continue cycling for about 500 meters, and you will see Monumen Urip Sumoharjo on your left.
