Walking
If you are in Malioboro Street, head south towards the intersection with Jalan Jendral Sudirman. Turn left onto Jalan Jendral Sudirman and walk until you reach the T-junction. At the T-junction, turn right onto Jalan Patehan. Continue straight for about 700 meters, and Taman Sari will be on your left. Look for the entrance with tickets available.

From Malioboro Street, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Ride south towards Jalan Jendral Sudirman, then turn left onto Jalan Jendral Sudirman. Continue straight until you reach the T-junction, then turn right onto Jalan Patehan. Cycle straight for about 700 meters. Taman Sari will be on your left. There are bike racks available near the entrance.
Public Transportation (Trans Jogja Bus)
Take the Trans Jogja bus from the nearest bus stop on Malioboro Street. Board bus route 1A or 1B. Get off at the 'Pangkaln Patehan' stop. From there, walk east on Jalan Patehan for about 400 meters. Taman Sari will be on your right. Follow the signs to the entrance.
Motorbike Taxi (Ojek)
Use a ride-hailing app such as Gojek or Grab. Set your destination to Taman Sari and book a motorbike taxi. The driver will pick you up from your location and take you directly to the entrance of Taman Sari. Make sure to confirm the driver's details before starting the journey.
