Hi, I'm Eve. Here are a few practical things to know before exploring De Hostel.
Local know-how to help you travel smarter and make the most of every moment.
Walking
If you're in the main area of Prawirotaman, head east on Jl. Prawirotaman. Look for Gg. Batik Gringsing, which is a small alley on your right. Turn into this alley and walk straight for about 50 meters. De Hostel will be on your left at No. 1.
Bicycle
You can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Prawirotaman. Start by cycling down Jl. Prawirotaman heading east. When you reach Gg. Batik Gringsing, turn right into the alley. Continue for about 50 meters and look for De Hostel on your left. Bicycle rental prices typically range from IDR 30,000 to IDR 50,000 per day.
Motorbike Taxi (Ojek)
You can use a motorbike taxi service like Gojek or Grab. Simply open the app, set your pickup location in Prawirotaman, and input 'De Hostel' or the address 'Jl. Prawirotaman Gg. Batik Gringsing No.1' as your destination. The fare usually costs around IDR 10,000 to IDR 20,000 depending on the distance and traffic.
Local Public Transport (Angkot)
While local public transport (Angkot) may not directly reach De Hostel, you can take an Angkot that routes through Prawirotaman. Board the Angkot heading towards Jl. Bausasran and get off at the nearest stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk back to Jl. Prawirotaman. Angkot fares are very affordable, usually around IDR 5,000.
