Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the center of Corn Belt. Head south on US-61 S. Continue for about 10 miles until you reach the interchange with I-74. Merge onto I-74 E towards Chicago. After approximately 2 miles, take exit 1A toward River Drive. Keep left to continue on River Drive, following the signs for Credit Island. After about 1.5 miles, turn right onto Credit Island Road, which will lead you directly to the entrance of Credit Island.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, find the nearest bus stop in Corn Belt. You can catch the local bus from the Corn Belt Transit System, which operates routes to Davenport. Look for the bus that heads toward Davenport downtown. Once you arrive in Davenport, you may need to transfer to another bus that goes towards River Drive. Get off at the stop closest to Credit Island Road. From there, it is a short walk to your destination. Be sure to check the bus schedule for any applicable fares, which may range from $1 to $2 for a single ride.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Corn Belt. Head south on River Drive from the center of Corn Belt. Follow the bike paths along the river for about 8 miles until you reach Credit Island. The ride is scenic and offers views of the Mississippi River. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local cycling laws. There are no additional costs besides the bike rental.

• Walking

  If you are nearby and prefer walking, from downtown Davenport, make your way to River Drive. Follow River Drive heading southeast for about 1.5 miles until you reach Credit Island Road. Turn right onto Credit Island Road; it will lead you directly to Credit Island. This walk is approximately 30 minutes and is ideal for those enjoying the scenic views of the river.
