After approximately 5 miles, take exit 143A for I-235 S toward Des Moines. Continue on I-235 S for about 5 miles. Take exit 8 for E Grand Ave. Turn left onto E Grand Ave, and after approximately 0.5 miles, the Iowa State Capitol will be on your left at 1007 E Grand Ave, Des Moines, IA 50319. There is often street parking available, but check for any parking fees in the area.
