If you are in downtown Council Bluffs, start at the intersection of Broadway and 16th Street. Head south on 16th Street until you reach the intersection with Avenue B. Turn left (east) onto Avenue B and continue walking for about 1 mile. You will see signs for Tom Hanafan River's Edge Park as you approach. The park entrance will be on your left at 4200 Avenue B.

If you are near the Council Bluffs Transit Center, board Bus Route 4 (or the bus that serves the nearby areas). Ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop closest to Avenue B and 42nd Street. Once you get off, walk east on Avenue B for about 0.5 miles. The entrance to Tom Hanafan River's Edge Park will be on your left at 4200 Avenue B.
