Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the nearby town of Viroqua, head northeast on US-14 E for about 15 miles. Merge onto WI-33 E and continue for another 12 miles. Look for signs to Wildcat Mountain State Park, located at E13660 WI-33, Ontario, WI 54651. There is a parking fee of $8 per vehicle for day use, which you can pay at the entrance.

• Car

  From La Crosse, take I-90 E and exit onto WI-16 E toward Tomah. Merge onto WI-12 E and continue for about 25 miles. Turn left onto WI-33 W, and follow it for about 20 miles until you reach Wildcat Mountain State Park. Ensure you have $8 for parking at the park entrance.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Wildcat Mountain State Park via public transportation, take a Greyhound bus to La Crosse. From La Crosse, you can use a local taxi or rideshare service to get to the park. Please note that public transportation options may be limited, so check schedules in advance. Additionally, you will need to pay the $8 parking fee upon arrival at the park.

• Carpool/Shared Ride

  Consider using a carpool or rideshare service if you are traveling from a nearby city or want to share costs. Arrange to meet at a central location in Driftless Area, and drive together to Wildcat Mountain State Park. Remember to bring the $8 for parking.
