Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting at the Newton Public Library located at 1000 Walnut St, Newton, head east on Walnut St toward Washington St. Turn left onto Washington St and continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Newton Centre stop on the Green Line 'D' line. Take the train toward Government Center and get off at the Park St station. From there, transfer to the Red Line and take the train toward Alewife. Get off at the Alewife station and walk to the Alewife bus terminal. From there, catch the bus 67 towards Ashmont and get off at the Harvard Yard stop. The Memorial Church will be just a short walk away in Harvard Yard.

    From the Newton Centre stop on the Green Line 'D' line, take the train towards Government Center. After 15 minutes, get off at Park St station. Transfer to the Red Line towards Alewife. Stay on the train for about 12 minutes and get off at Alewife station. From there, board the bus 67 towards Ashmont. After approximately 10 minutes, disembark at the Harvard Yard stop. The Memorial Church is located at 1 Harvard Yard, just a short walk from the bus stop.
