The State Historical Society Research Center is located at 402 Iowa Avenue in Iowa City, a short walk from many downtown locations and the University of Iowa campus. From the Iowa City Public Library, walk east on College Street, then turn right onto Iowa Avenue. The Centennial Building will be on your left. Metered street parking is available, but can be limited. Several parking ramps are also nearby, including the Tower Place and Parking ramp adjacent to the building, where the first hour is free and subsequent hours are $2.
