Thrills and Fun Await at Babe Gûrgûr Amusement Park

Getting There

• Walking

  Start from the center of Kirkuk, near the main bazaar (سوق كركوك). Head southwest toward the main road (شارع 60). Continue straight along this road for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the Al-Mujahideen Square (دوار المجاهدين). From there, take a left turn onto Al-Aziziyah Street (شارع العزيزية). Walk straight for another 10 minutes. You will see signs for Babe Gûrgûr Amusement Park (پارکی بابا گوڕگوڕ) on your right. The park entrance is located at coordinates GC64+787.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From the main bus station in Kirkuk, look for buses heading toward the neighborhood of Al-Hudaydah. Board one of these buses and tell the driver you are going to 'Babe Gûrgûr Park'. The fare is usually around 2000 IQD. Once you reach the closest stop, get off near Al-Mujahideen Square (دوار المجاهدين), and from there, it is a short 15-minute walk to the park. Follow Al-Aziziyah Street (شارع العزيزية) until you see the park entrance on your right.

• Taxi (Shared)

  Find a shared taxi (سرفيس) at any main taxi stand in Kirkuk, particularly near the central bazaar. Inform the driver you wish to go to Babe Gûrgûr Amusement Park (پارکی بابا گوڕگوڕ). The fare should be around 1500-2500 IQD. The taxi will drop you off near Al-Mujahideen Square (دوار المجاهدين), from where you can walk about 15 minutes along Al-Aziziyah Street (شارع العزيزية) until you reach the park entrance.
