    From Nasiriyah, the capital of Dhi Qar Governorate, head southeast on the Al-Quds Street (also known as Highway 7). Continue for approximately 30 kilometers (about 18 miles) until you reach the fork. Take the right fork onto Route 8, which will lead you closer to the Showachi Marsh area. Follow Route 8 for about 15 kilometers (9 miles). Along this route, look for signs indicating 'Al-Chibayish' as your final approach. As you enter Al-Chibayish, keep an eye out for local signs directing you to Showachi Marsh. The marsh is located just a few kilometers west of the town center.
