From Achill Sound, follow the R319 north towards Dugort. Continue for approximately 14km. As you enter Dugort, follow signs for the Golden Strand. Achill Island Alpacas is located near the beach. Parking is available near the beach, but it can be limited during peak season. Parking is free.

From Westport or Castlebar, take the Bus Éireann route 450 to Achill. Alight at Dugort. From there, it's a short walk to the Golden Strand. Check the Bus Éireann website for the most up-to-date schedule and fare information. A single adult fare from Westport to Achill is approximately €6-€10.

Taxis are available on Achill Island. A taxi from Achill Sound to Achill Island Alpacas in Dugort will cost approximately €30-€40. It is advisable to book in advance, especially during the peak season.
