Driving
The Healy Pass is best approached by car, offering the most flexibility to explore the area. The pass is located on the R574 road, connecting Adrigole in County Cork and Lauragh in County Kerry. From either town, follow the R574, keeping in mind the narrow, winding nature of the road. There are several small parking areas and viewpoints along the route. Be aware that the road is not suitable for buses or large vehicles. There are no tolls on this route, and parking is free.
