If you are driving from Kenmare, take the N71 towards Glengarriff. After about 20 km, turn left onto the R574 towards Lauragh. Follow this road for approximately 12 km until you reach the entrance to Derreen Garden on your right. There is parking available on-site, and the garden is open from 10 AM to 6 PM daily. Please note that there may be a small entrance fee.

From Kenmare, take a bus operated by Bus Éireann (Route 226) towards Castletownbere. Get off at the Lauragh stop. From there, it is about a 2 km walk to Derreen Garden.
