Getting There

  • Walking

    From Bray Seafront, head north on the promenade towards Bray Head. Continue walking along the shore until you reach the end of the promenade. At the end, take a right onto the road (Marine Parade) and continue walking. After about 20-25 minutes, you will reach the junction with the main road (Quinsborough Road). Cross over to the other side and continue straight until you reach the DART station (Bray DART Station). From Bray DART Station, catch the DART train towards Dublin. Disembark at the next stop, which is Dalkey. Once you exit the Dalkey station, walk towards the coast, and after a short 10-minute walk, you will arrive at Sandycove.

  • Public Transport

    From Bray, walk towards Bray DART Station. Once there, purchase a ticket to Sandycove. Board the DART train heading towards Dublin and get off at the Dalkey station. After exiting the station, head down towards the coast. Follow the signs for Sandycove, which is about a 10-minute walk from the station. You will pass some local shops and cafes along the way.

  • Bus

    Head to the nearest bus stop on Quinsborough Road. You can take the 145 bus towards Dublin. This bus will take you directly towards Sandycove. Ensure you inform the driver that you want to get off at Sandycove. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you get off, follow the signs towards the beach, and you will reach Sandycove.
