From the Grafton Street shopping area, walk east towards Trinity College. Enter the college grounds through the main gate on College Green. The Book of Kells Experience is located in the Old Library, a short walk from the entrance. No cost is involved.

Trinity College is well-served by Dublin Bus, Luas (tram), and DART (train). Several bus routes stop near the college entrance on College Green. The Green Line Luas has a stop at Trinity College. Pearse Station, a DART station, is a short walk from the college's east end. A single fare on Dublin Bus or Luas ranges from €1.50 to €2.60 depending on the number of stops and payment method (Leap Card or cash). DART fares vary depending on the distance traveled.
