If you're starting from O'Connell Street, head south towards the River Liffey. Cross the Ha'penny Bridge to get to the south side of the river. Once across, continue straight onto Wellington Quay. Follow the riverbank until you reach the junction with Burgh Quay. Turn left onto Burgh Quay and you will find the Patrick Sheahan Memorial just ahead on your left, near the entrance of Hawkins Street.

If you are near the Luas tram line, take the Green Line tram towards Sandyford. Get off at the St. Stephen's Green stop. From there, walk east along Dawson Street until you reach Nassau Street. Turn left onto Nassau Street and walk until you reach the junction with Westmoreland Street. Continue onto O'Connell Bridge and cross over to the south side of the River Liffey. Head south on Burgh Quay and you will find the Patrick Sheahan Memorial on your left.
