The Old Courthouse is located at the end of this road, right by the water, making it an easy and pleasant stroll.
Public Transport
From Dublin city center, take the DART train from Dublin Pearse or Dublin Connolly station to Howth. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Alternatively, take the Dublin Bus route 31 or 31B from O'Connell Street to Howth. Get off at the stop on Harbour Road. From there, walk along Harbour Road to find The Old Courthouse, which will be on your left as you approach the harbour. A single bus or train fare from Dublin to Howth is approximately €2-4.
Driving
From Dublin, follow the R105 road to Howth. As you enter Howth, follow signs for the harbor. Limited street parking is available in Howth village, and there are car parks along the main road. Parking charges may apply, with hourly rates around €1 and a daily cap of €5. Be aware that parking can be difficult to find, especially on sunny days. Free parking is available at Howth Summit, a short distance from the village center, but this fills up quickly.
