Getting There

  • Walking

    The Cliffs Walking Trail is located near the Cliffs of Moher. From the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre, follow the coastal path either north towards Doolin or south towards Liscannor and Hags Head. The trail is well-marked, but exercise caution near the cliff edges. Note that the trail is not suitable for young children, bicycles, and dogs are forbidden.

  • Public Transport

    The Bus Éireann route 350 connects several towns and villages in the area, including Ennis, Lahinch, Liscannor, Doolin, and Lisdoonvarna. From any of these locations, you can take the bus to the Cliffs of Moher. From the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre, you can then access the Cliffs Walking Trail. A summer shuttle bus service also operates in the area, providing a convenient way to reach the Cliffs of Moher from various towns and villages in North and West Clare. A combined entry ticket plus shuttle bus provides great value for money.

  • Driving

    If driving, follow the R478 to the Cliffs of Moher. There is a parking fee at the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre. As an alternative to the visitor centre, you can park at Guerin's farm for €5 per car and stroll along Guerin's Path to a quieter part of the Cliff Walk. Parking is also available in Doolin at the Russel Community Centre. Parking at the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre costs €8 for adults.
