Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, begin your journey on the R478 road, which is the main route leading to the Cliffs of Moher. Follow the signs for the Cliffs. Once you reach the Cliffs of Moher visitor center, continue on the same road. After passing the visitor center, look for signs indicating 'St. Brigid's Well'. Moher Cottage will be located nearby. Ensure to park in designated parking areas; parking might incur a fee, typically around €6 per day.

• Public Transportation

  From the town of Ennis, you can take the Bus Eireann route 350 towards Doolin. Inform the driver you would like to get off at the Cliffs of Moher visitor center. Once you arrive at the visitor center, you can either walk (approximately 20 minutes) or take a local taxi to Moher Cottage. The taxi fare may vary but expect to pay around €10-€15 for the short ride.

• Walking

  If you are already at the Cliffs of Moher and wish to walk to Moher Cottage, exit the visitor center area and follow the path leading towards the cliffs. After about 1 kilometer, watch for signs to St. Brigid's Well. The cottage is located near this landmark. The walk will take approximately 20-30 minutes, and it offers stunning views along the way.

  If you are feeling adventurous, renting a bicycle in the Cliffs of Moher area can be a great way to explore. From the visitor center, cycle towards the south along the coastal road, following signs for St. Brigid's Well. The distance is about 2 kilometers. Ensure to wear a helmet and be cautious of traffic. Bike rental typically costs around €15-€20 per day.
