    From Galway Train Station, exit the station and walk northwest towards Eyre Square. The Oyster Bar is located within The Hardiman Hotel, which faces the east side of Eyre Square. The walk is approximately 1 block and takes just a few minutes.

    Several bus routes stop near Eyre Square. Check local bus schedules for the most convenient route from your location. Alight at a stop on the perimeter of Eyre Square. The Oyster Bar is located within The Hardiman Hotel, which faces the east side of Eyre Square. A single adult bus fare is approximately €1.50 with a TFI Leap Card.

    Taxis are readily available throughout Galway City. A taxi from the Galway Train Station to Eyre Square is a short ride, typically costing between €6 and €8. The Oyster Bar is located within The Hardiman Hotel, which faces the east side of Eyre Square.

    If driving, the closest and most convenient car parking facility is located at the Q-Park Eyre Square car park. Vehicular access to the Car park is from Merchants Road. Hourly rates apply, and evening/overnight rates are also available. As of July 2025, day rate (8am to 7pm) is charged at €2.50 per hour. Evening/Overnight Rate (7pm to 8am) is €6.50.
