Driving
Glendeer Pet Farm is located in Curryroe, Drum, near Athlone. From Athlone town, follow the signs for the N6 towards Galway. Exit at Junction 13 for Tuam/Monksland. At the roundabout, take the exit signposted for Drum. Continue to the next roundabout and take the first exit for Drum. Take the next right turn for Drum, and the farm is 2 miles (3km) up the road on the left. Ample free parking is available on site.

From Athlone town centre, go to the Bus Éireann station on the west side of the River Shannon. Take bus number 22 or 23 towards Roscommon. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Ask the driver to stop at the nearest stop to Glendeer Pet Farm near Curryroe. From there, walk towards Curryroe, following signs or asking locals for directions. A single fare on Bus Éireann within Athlone is approximately €2-€3.
