Getting there

Walking

From the center of Kinsale, start at the Kinsale Heritage Centre. Head south on Pearse Street, then take a left onto Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the R600, which is the road leading out of Kinsale. Walk along this road for about 15 minutes, enjoying the scenic views of the harbor. As you walk, you'll pass by various shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Castlepark Village. Once you see the sign for Castlepark, take the left turn onto Castlepark Road. Continue straight until you reach Dock Beach, which is located at P17 PH02, 4, Castlepark Village.

Public Transport - Bus

From the Kinsale Bus Stop located on the R600, take Bus Route 226 towards Cork. Inform the driver that you would like to get off at the Castlepark Village stop. The bus journey will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you get off at Castlepark Village, walk straight down the road towards the beach until you reach Dock Beach at P17 PH02, 4, Castlepark Village.

Bicycle

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Kinsale town center. Ride south on Pearse Street, then left onto Main Street. Continue to the roundabout and take the second exit onto the R600. Follow this road for about 15 minutes, enjoying the views. Look for the sign for Castlepark Village, take the left turn onto Castlepark Road, and continue until you arrive at Dock Beach located at P17 PH02, 4, Castlepark Village.
