Car
From Dublin city center, get onto the M1 motorway from O'Connell Street. Follow signs for M1/N1 and merge onto M1. Continue on M1 for about 12 km, then take the exit towards Malahide/Howth (R105). Follow the R105 towards Howth for approximately 10 km. As you enter Howth, follow signs for the Harbour and then the Howth Lighthouse. There is parking available at the Howth Harbour (check for parking fees, usually around €2-€4 per hour). The lighthouse is a short walk from the Harbour.

Take the DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) train from Dublin city center. Board the DART at any central station (e.g., Pearse Station or Tara Street) heading towards Howth. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Howth station, exit the station and walk towards the Harbour, which is about a 15-minute scenic walk. Follow the coastal path signs to reach the Howth Lighthouse. Note that DART tickets cost approximately €3.30 for a single journey from the city center to Howth.
