The George is centrally located on South Great George's Street, making it easily accessible by foot from many points in Dublin city center. From Grafton Street, walk south towards Trinity College, then turn left onto Dame Street. Continue onto George's Street. The George will be on your left. Walking from Trinity College takes approximately 10-15 minutes.
Public Transport
The George is well-served by Dublin's public transportation network. Several Dublin Bus routes stop near George's Street. The closest Luas (tram) stop is the St. Stephen's Green stop on the Green Line, which is a short walk away. A single Dublin Bus or Luas fare within the city center is approximately €2.00 - €2.60 when paying with cash, but using a Leap Card offers a cheaper fare of around €1.50. A Leap Visitor Card (€8.00 for 24 hours) provides unlimited travel on Dublin Bus, Luas, and DART services.
