From Grafton Street, Dublin's main shopping thoroughfare, walk south towards St Stephen's Green. Enter the park through the main gate at the top of Grafton Street. The Wolfe Tone Sculpture is located in the northeast corner of the park, facing outwards onto the open paved plaza.

Take the Luas Green Line to the St Stephen's Green stop. Several Dublin Bus routes also stop near St Stephen's Green. From the bus or tram stop, walk to the northeast corner of the park to find the Wolfe Tone Sculpture. A single bus or tram fare within the city center is approximately €3.

The Wolfe Tone Sculpture is a prominent monument situated in the northeast corner of St Stephen's Green, one of Dublin's most beloved parks. The sculpture commemorates Theobald Wolfe Tone, a leading figure in the Society of United Irishmen and a central figure in the 1798 Irish Rebellion. Tone is widely regarded as the father of Irish republicanism.Created by Irish sculptor Edward Delaney, the 3-meter-high bronze statue was erected in 1966 and unveiled in 1967 by President Éamon de Valera. The sculpture depicts Tone in a thoughtful pose, set against a backdrop of granite monoliths designed by architect Noel Keating. The awkward stance of Tone's figure is meant to evoke the lack of resolution in Irish nationalist history, with the failure of the United Irishman Rebellion. The platform is inscribed with 'Wolfe Tone 1763 1798'.St Stephen's Green itself is a 9-hectare (22-acre) Victorian park in the heart of Dublin, offering a peaceful retreat from the bustling city.
