If you are driving, start from Tralee, which is approximately 20 km from the Kerry Scenic Platform. From Tralee, head southeast on the N21 road towards Castleisland. Continue on the N21 for about 10 km until you reach Castleisland. Once in Castleisland, follow the signs to the R563 road. After approximately 2 km, you will find the Glounsharoon Scenic Platform on your left. There is ample parking available near the platform.

Once you arrive at Castleisland, you can either take a local taxi or walk approximately 2 km to the Glounsharoon Scenic Platform. If you are already in Castleisland, walking to the Kerry Scenic Platform is a pleasant option. The platform is roughly a 25-minute walk from the town center. Start by heading southeast on Church Street, then turn onto the R563. Continue straight for about 2 km until you reach the scenic platform. Enjoy the beautiful rural views along the way!
